Transferring Files to a Team Drive


Warning

After you move your  files  into a team drive, all ownership is transferred over to the team drive folder as well. Those files will no longer appear in your personal Google Drive. They'll be owned by the institution. 

To transfer files into your Google Drive, follow these steps. 

  1. Go to drive.google.com and sign into your Beloit account.
  2. Search your drive for the file you would like to share. Then drag the file into your Team Drive.

The file will now be shared with everyone in the Team Drive. The extent of which they can interact with the files is determined by permissions set for their accounts
