Make a Course Visible

Courses in Moodle are created in a hidden state by default which means that it is invisible to students. You may wish to keep your course unavailable to students while you are developing it and then make it available to students when you are ready. To do so:

  1. Click the Gear icon at the top of the course page to access the Course Management Menu.

  2. In the Course Settings column, click Edit Course Settings.

  3. In the General Settings section at the top of the page, set Course Visibility to SHOW.

  4. Scroll to the bottom of the page and click the Save Changes button.
