Change Course Start Date

The Course Start Date and Course End Date set the availability of your course for weekly sections, activity availability, and student visibility. The Course Start Date and Course End Date should be automatically set but the Registrar’s Office via the Moodle sync with the Portal. However, if you do need to make changes, you can follow the steps below.

Update Course Start of End Dates

The start/end date settings also affect the display of logs. If you need to change the start/end dates, be sure to do so before the start of the course.

 

To update the course start/end dates, follow the steps below:

  1. From the main course page, click Settings in the top navigation.

  2. In the General course settings, set the desired start date.

  3. Set the end date.

  4. Scroll to the bottom of the Settings page and click the Save and Display button.
