Overview

The Shared With Me window contains all the files and folders that have be shared with the user. Based on the Access Permissions of the files and folders users can view, edit and comment. If the user deletes a shared file, it will not affect the the file owner or the others recipients with whom the file is shared.

Files and folders on this window can be organized based on four categories:

Share date
Name
Last modified
Last modified by me
Last opened by me

By default the files are organized on the basis of Share Date. To change it to a different category click the Share date on the top right side of the window and select a desired category.

View Details

To view Details or Activity of shared files first select the file then click on the icon on the right side below Google Account. A pop-up menu will appear.

To view details, click on Details on the top left side of the menu. Details contain the information of the shared files. For example- file type, owner, other people with whom the file is shared,etc.
To view activity, click on Activity on the top right side of the menu. Activity contains all the changes done to the shared file by any member.
