Changing Your Password
If your password has expired, or you think your account may be compromised, you can change your password with these instructions.
If you use a college-owned workstation
On a PC:
Connect to the campus network:
If you're not on campus, connect to the VPN.
If you're on campus, make sure you are connected to BCNet or the wired campus network.
On your keyboard, press CTRL + ALT + DEL.
Click Change a password.
Enter your old password, then enter and verify your new password and click the arrow button to submit your new password.
On a Mac:
Connect to the campus network:
If you are off-campus, connect to the VPN.
If you are on campus, make sure you are connected to the BCNet or connected to the wired campus network.
Click the Jamf Connect icon at the top of the screen in your menu bar near the clock.
Click Change Password.
Enter your old password, then enter and verify your new password and click Change Password.
Be sure to update your password on other devices (such as your phone, tablets, or other computers) if you use them to log into BCNet or your Beloit Gmail, to avoid your account being locked out due to invalid login attempts.
If you do not have a college-owned workstation
Sign in to password.beloit.edu with your Beloit username and password.
If you do not know your current password, see resetting your password.
Re-enter your current password to verify your identity and click Submit.
Click Change Password.
Enter your current password, then enter and confirm your new password and click Update.
Passwords must be at least 8 characters.
Click Go to My Apps at the bottom right corner of the page to return to the My Apps page, or click your username at the top-right. and choose Log Out.
