Set up Account Recovery Options

Password recovery options to help you recover your account if your password is lost or forgotten, and provide additional security for using Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA).

  1. Sign in at password.beloit.edu with your Beloit username and password.

  2. Re-enter your password and click Submit.

  3. Required: Select and answer five security questions that only you know the answers to, then click Submit.

  4. Recommended: Click the Email Recovery tab and enter an alternate recovery email address.

    • A verification code will be sent to the address you submitted. Enter the code and click Verify to verify your email address.

  5. Recommended: Click the Phone Recovery tab and enter up to two recovery phone numbers.

    • A verification code will be sent via text message to the phone number you submitted. Enter the code and click Verify to verify your phone number.

  6. Optional: Set up YubiKey Recovery and Google Authenticator verification options. See our Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) information.

  7. Click Go to My Apps at the bottom right corner of the page to return to the My Apps page, or click your username at the top-right. and choose Log Out.

You can now use the Reset Password link at the sign in page to recover your account if your password is lost or forgotten.

If your account has Multi Factor Authentication enabled, you can also use the above options to log into your account.
