Follow the steps given below to download R for Windows PC.

1. On you computer's browser navigate to The R Project for Statistical Computing

2. On the homepage click on the link to download R 

3. On the CRAN mirrors page scroll down to find USA and click on the first link 

4. Under The Comprehensive R Archive Network, click on the link to Download R for Windows

5. In the sub directories page, click on the base link

6. Then, click on the link to Download R-3.6.1 for Windows

7. After the installation is complete Allow the app to make changes to your device and respond to the prompts as necessary 

Follow the steps given below to download R for Mac OS

1. On you computer's browser navigate to The R Project for Statistical Computing

2. On the homepage click on the link to download R 

3. On the CRAN mirrors page scroll down to find USA and click on the first link 

4. Under The Comprehensive R Archive Network, click on the link to Download R for (Mac) OS X

5. Click on R-3.6.1 pkg

6. After the download is complete, the installer will guide you through the steps necessary to set up R
