Installing Printers

Campus printers may only be installed on college-owned computers. To print from a personal computer please see the article on Mobility Print.

MacOS

  1. Open the LITS Self Service app. This is the Beloit College “B” icon on your dock.

  2. Select the Printers tab on the left sidebar.

 

To remove all old printers you can run the Reset Printing System.

This method will also remove any personal printers you’ve added.

  1. Select the printer group you wish to install and click the install button.

    1. Printer groups are sorted by building.

    2. You can view the names of included printers by clicking on the printer icon.

Removing Individual Printers from MacOS

  1. Open System settings.

  2. Scroll down the setting list on the left side and select “Printers and Scanners”.

  3. Click on the name of the individual printer you want to remove.

  4. Click on the “Remove printer” button

Windows

Your college-owned Windows machine should install printers automatically through group policy. If you aren’t seeing any printers, try restarting your device.
