After sharing a file the owner can select the viewing options for the recipients. To change access settings follow the instructions given below.
- OpenShare with others pop-up menu. This process is the same as sharing a file.
- Click Advanced on the bottom right.
- On the right side of the people with whom the file has already been shared click on the Edit Icon/Down Arrow.
- A context menu will open with four options. Choose the desired option.
a. Is owner. (This option is to transfer ownership).
b. Can edit.
c. Can comment.
d. Can view.
You can only choose one option. At the bottom of this menu are Owner Settings.
- To Prevent editors from changing access and adding new people, check the box beside it.
- To Disable options to download, print and copy for commenters and viewers, check the box beside it.
5. Click Done after the desired changes are made.
