Displaying a laptop or other video device

  1. Connect one of the video cables (HDMI or VGA) to the corresponding port on your laptop/device.

    • For audio when using VGA, plug the 3.5mm audio cable into the headphone/audio out port on your laptop/device and the other end into the Audio In port on the Atlona connections panel.

  2. Once the cable is connected to the proper ports on the laptop and the control panel, the HDTV will automatically turn On.

    • Note that the auto On/Off commands are on a slight delay.

    • If the HDTV does not turn on automatically, press the Display On/Off button on the Atlona a/v controller on the left side of the HDTV to activate the display.

  3. The Atlona panel will detect the active video signal from your laptop or device and automatically switch to that video input.

    • If you need to use more than one device, you can manually switch between the devices by pressing the Input Select button on the Atlona panel.

  4. Audio level can be adjusted using the Volume control on the laptop/device.

    • Note: The volume level that is set for the soundbar is very loud in order to fill sound throughout the entire room.  Be sure to turn the volume on your computer way down (recommend only 10-30%) before playing a clip to avoid damaging your hearing (and the speakers).

  5. When you are finished using the equipment, please disconnect the AV cables from your laptop or video device.  Press the Display On/Off button on the Atlona control panel to turn off the display or the HDTV will turn off automatically after 2 minutes with no active video signal.
