Public Area Computers
Due to the renovation of Morse Library, computers have been relocated to the Majerus Study Lounge on the first floor of the Powerhouse.
There are a number of public area computers available in the Morse Library for general use by Beloit College faculty, staff, and students.

In addition to the public area computers itemized on this page, there are also two computer labs located in Morse Library. Information on these spaces is available on the the following pages:
North OPAC
The North OPAC computer area is located on the north side of the main floor across from the Circulation Desk. Technology in this space includes:
4x Windows workstations
2x Public Access workstations (web and library catalog browsing only, no special software or printing)
1x Sharp copier/printer (black and white)
The computers in this space are loaded with the Windows 10 operating system and have the following specialized software applications installed:
JMP
Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
SPSS
South OPAC
The South OPAC computer area is located on the south side of the main floor across from the Innovation Space and near the main stairs. Technology in this space includes:
6x Windows workstations
1x Sharp copier/printer (black and white)
1x Sharp copier/printer (color - located in the copy room next to the elevator)
The computers in this space are loaded with the Windows 10 operating system and have the following specialized software applications installed:

North Risers
The North Risers computer area is located on the north side of the main floor, around the corner of the Circulation Desk, near the windows. Technology in this space includes:

4x Epson flatbed scanners
1x Sharp high-speed, sheet-feed document scanner

Group Study Rooms
The Group Study Rooms (A-E) are small, secluded study or collaborative meeting spaces located on the east side of the main floor. Technology in these space includes:
5x HDTVs with HDMI connection (one workstation in each study room)
Balcony
The Balcony computer area is located on the north side of the second floor overlooking the north windows. Technology in this space includes:
4x Windows workstations
2x Mac workstations
1x Xerox laser printer (black and white)

Lower Level
The Lower Level computer area is located on the west side of the lower level near the Learning Studio. Technology in this space includes:

2x HDTV multimedia viewing stations with Blu-Ray players
1x Sharp copier/printer (located in the copy room next to the elevator)
