Logging in to your phone

Follow the steps given below to login into your Mitel desk phone

as a first time user

: 

  1. Press Hot Desk softkey (softkeys are located below the phone display).

  2. Press the Login softkey.

  3. Enter your extension number

(Use the telephone dial pad)

  3. Enter

PIN 1234 (Use the telephone dial pad).(The initial login pin is 1234 until you set up your VM and pick a personal pin

    1. If this is the first time you are logging in, use the default PIN of 1234. Once logged in, complete the VM set up and input a new personal PIN.  Your new VM

Initial voicemail set up

Logging in to voicemail

  1. Lift the receiver.

  2. Press the voicemail icon or dial x2099.

  3. Enter the default voicemail passcode 1234.

Voicemail setup tutorial

After logging in the first time a welcome tutorial will play to guide you through the steps of setting up and personalizing your voicemail. Included on the tutorial are the following items:

  1. Setting a new, secure passcode.

  2. Recording a greeting for callers.

  3. Recording your name for callers.

InfoBe sure to follow the voicemail setup tutorial to its completion. Failure to complete the setup tutorial will clear any settings you have already input and cause the tutorial to reset.
