Google Contact Groups allows allow users to create an online group where members can communicate with each other. Access permission can also be adjusted as to who can view, post and edit topics. a group name to associate with multiple contacts in order to simplify repeat messaging or sharing. Contact groups exist only within individual Google accounts and are not sharable. If you need to create a communication group for everyone to access, consider creating a Google Group instead. Follow the steps below to create a Google Contact Groupgroup.
- Navigate to Google Contacts.
- Click on My Contacts. Check the boxes on the left side in the left-side navigation sidebar.
- In the main contact pane, click the checkboxes to the left of the names of for the contacts whom you want to add in the to a group.
- Click on the Group Iconicon located on the top of the window. A context menu will open.Click
- In the pop-up Group menu, click on Create New.
- A New Group pop-up menu will appear. Type in a name for the Contact group tittle.
- Click on the blue OK button.
- The new group should now appear under My Contacts.
