Overview
Both Canon and Lexmark printer/copiers on campus support duplexing (double-sided printing) in order to reduce the number of pages needed to print multi-page documents. Duplexing when printing and copying is enabled by default, however this setting can be adjusted as needed.

Changing duplex options on a Mac
- Open the file you would like to print and choose Print from the application menus.
- If printing from Google Chrome, also click Print using system dialog.
- When the Print dialog appears, select your printer.
For Canon printers
- Click the Layout dropdown in the middle of the window and select Finishing.
- If you don't see a Layout dropdown box, click the Show Details button.
- Change the Print Style dropdown to the desired setting.
- Click Print.
For Lexmark printers
- Under Layout, change the Two-Sided dropdown to the desired setting.
- If you don't see a Layout dropdown box, click the Show Details button.
- Click Print.
Changing duplex printing options on a Windows PC
- Open the file you would like to print and choose Print from the application menus.
- If printing from Google Chrome, also click Print using system dialog.
- When the Print dialog appears, select your printer.
- Click the Preferences button.
For Canon printers
- Click the Finishing tab.
- Change the Print Style dropdown to the desired setting.
- Click Print.
For Lexmark printers
- Under the Layout tab, below the section labeled Print on Both Sides (Duplex), change the printer setting dropdown box to the desired setting.
- Click Print.
