Summary

Beloit College uses the CallPilot voicemail system for campus voice messaging.

Logging on/off from voicemail:

1. From a campus phone, dial extension 7000.

   1. When dialing from your desk phone, you can  also press the "Message" key.

   1. From an off-campus phone, dial 608-363-7000.

2. Dial your mailbox number, followed by the # key.

   1. Your mailbox number is the same as your campus phone extension number.

3. Dial your password, followed by the # key.

4. When finished with voicemail, dial 83 to log off, or just hang up.

Voicemail password:

• Your initial voicemail login password is 0 followed by your extension number.

• Example: 02235 for extension 2235.

• You will be prompted to change the password when you first log in to the voicemail.

• Passwords must be at least 4 digits and cannot be the same as the extension number.

• The system also limits some passwords that are too simple: ie 1234.

• If you forget your voicemail password, please Report a Problem.

Change your password

1. Log on to voicemail.
2. Press 84 to access the Password menu.
3. Enter your current password, followed by the # key.
4. Enter your new password, followed by the # key
5. Enter your new password again, followed by the # key to confirm.
6. Dial 83 to log off.

Manage your voicemail messages

1. Log on to voicemail.
2. Press 2 to review your messages.
3. Message management commands:
1. Press 2 to repeat the message.
2. Press 9 to repeat caller information.
3. Press 76 to delete a message.
4. Press 73 to forward the message to another campus extension.
5. Press 6 to proceed to the next message.
6. Press 4 to return to the previous message.
4. When you are finished managing messages, press 83 to log off.
