Intune Enrollment
Intune Device Management
Beloit College uses a Mobile Device Management (MDM) solution called Intune to facilitate efficient management of all college-owned Windows devices. Intune provides self-service options for faculty and staff which allows LITS to keep computers updated and secure, and ensures technical problems are kept to a minimum. LITS requires that all faculty and staff workstations are enrolled into the Intune management system. Enrollment will open on Monday March 27th, 2023 and all faculty and staff workstations must be enrolled by April 3rd, 2023.

Frequently Asked Questions
Q: What is Intune, why is LITS implementing it?

In LITS we Admins need to protect organization data, manage end user access, and support users from wherever they work. Intune allows us to fulfill both of these goals.
Q: Will I lose and data, files, or apps?
A: No, you will still be able to access all of your data, files and apps they will all still be available in the spot you’d normally access them.
Q: What is the Company Portal app?

In short, Beloit College faculty and staff computers utilize Microsoft OneDrive for backup and sync of critical folders on Windows machines these are the Desktop, Documents, and Photos folders.
