Displaying a laptop or other video device

  1. Retrieve the AV cable (VGA or HDMI) that you would like to use from the AV cabinet below the HDTV.
  2. Connect the cable to the Atlona panel below the HDTV, then connect to the corresponding port on your laptop/device.
    • For audio when using VGA, plug the 3.5mm audio cable into the headphone/audio out port on your laptop/device and the other end into the Audio In port on the Atlona connections panel.
  3. Once the cable is connected to the proper ports on the laptop and the control panel, the HDTV will automatically turn On.
    • Note that the auto On/Off commands are on a slight delay.
    • If the HDTV does not turn on automatically, press the On button on the Atlona a/v controller on the right side of the AV cabinet to activate the display.
  4. The Atlona panel will detect the active video signal from your laptop or device and automatically switch to that video input.
    • If you need to use more than one device, you can manually switch between the devices by pressing the Input Select button on the Atlona panel.
  5. Audio level can be adjusted using the Volume control on the computer.
  6. When you are finished using the equipment, please disconnect the AV cables and return them to the shelf in the AV cabinet.  The HDTV will automatically turn Off after 2 minutes with no active video signal.
