SC 130 is a general-use classroom located on the first floor of Sanger of Sanger Center for the Sciences. Instructional technology in this space includes an a an a/v controller, wall-mounted data/video projector, wall-mounted speakers, and connections for laptop and HD devicesHD devices.

Connecting laptop to VGA cable
Connect the laptop VGA cable on the connections wall plate to the VGA port on your laptop.
For audio, plug the 3.5mm audio cable into the headphone/audio out port on your laptop.
Press

buttonbutton on the wall-mounted Extron a/v controller to activate the room a/v system.
Once the projector activates, press

buttonbutton on the Extron controller.
Press
thethe Power
buttonbutton to boot up the laptop.
Audio level can be adjusted using
thethe Volume
knobknob on the Extron controller.
When you are finished using the equipment, please power down all components and press
thethe Off
buttonbutton on the Extron controller.
Projecting a video player
Connect the video player to the connections wall plate using either:
a composite RCA cable for a DVD/VCR
an HDMI cable for a Blu-Ray player
Press the On button on the wall-mounted Extron a/v controller to activate the room a/v system.
Once the projector activates, press:
Video source button on the Extron controller for DVD/VCR.
HDMI source button on the Extron controller for a Blu-Ray player.
Turn the video player ON using the Power button on the unit.
Insert your tape or disc.
Control the video using the menu and playback control buttons on the video player’s remote.
Audio level can be adjusted using the Volume knob on the Extron controller.
When you are finished using the equipment, please power down all components and press the Off button on the Extron controller.
