SC 147 is a general-use classroom 147 is a Biology lab located on the second first floor of Sanger of Sanger Center for the Sciences. Instructional technology in this space includes an a an a/v controller, floor-plated floorbox  data/video projector, wall-mounted speakers, and connections for laptop and HD devices.

1. Connect the laptop VGA cable

1. in the connections

1. floorbox to the VGA port on your laptop.

   • For audio, plug the 3.5mm audio cable into the headphone/audio out port on your laptop.

2. Press

1. the On

1.  button on the wall-

1. mounted Extron a/v controller

1.  to activate the room a/v system.

2. Once the projector activates, press

1. the Laptop

1.  button on the Extron controller.

2. Press

1. the Power

1.  button to boot up the laptop.

2. Audio level can be adjusted using

1. the Volume

1.  knob on the Extron controller.

2. When you are finished using the equipment, please power down all components and press

1. the Off

1.  button on the Extron controller.

Projecting a video player

1. Connect the video player to the connections wall plate using either:

   • a composite RCA cable for a DVD/VCR

2. Press

1. the On

1.  button on the wall-mounted Extron a/v controller to activate the room a/v system.

2. Once the projector activates, press:

   • Video source button on the Extron controller for DVD/VCR.

3. Turn the video player ON using

1. the Power

1.  button on the unit.

2. Insert your tape or disc.

3. Control the video using the menu and playback control buttons on the video player’s remote.

4. Audio level can be adjusted using

1. the Volume

1.  knob on the Extron controller.

2. When you are finished using the equipment, please power down all components and press

1. the Off

1.  button on the Extron controller.
