System Installation Information 


Cutover

Marco and Beloit College will be cutting over to the new phone system starting at 9:00 AM on Tuesday August 27th.

Post- Installation Information

All users will be live on the new phone and voicemail system Tuesday August 27th following all numbers being moved to the new system.

Cutover and Post Cut Assistance

Personnel from Marco will be onsite Tuesday August 27th for cutover and post cutover support.  To report issues or system questions on Tuesday August 27th please contact the IT Helpdesk at 4357.

Training Videos and Documentation

Beloit College will host phone/VM/application training videos in a shared drive that end users will be able to access.

Old Phone Drop Off

Executive assistants, building coordinators and office managers will be collecting old phones for return to IT



First time login into your phone

 Follow the steps given below to login to your phone as a first time user. 

  1. Press Hotdesk softkey (softkeys are located below the phone display)

  2. Press Login softkey

  3. Enter your extension number (Use the telephone dial pad)

  4. Press Enter softkey

  5. Enter PIN 1234 (Use the telephone dial pad)

  6. (The initial login pin is 1234 until you set up your VM and pick a personal pin.  Your new VM pin then will become your Hotdesk login pin as well)

  7. Press Enter softkey



Initial one-time voice mailbox set up


From your phone

Lift Receiver 

Press Voicemail icon(or dial 1800)

Enter Your default 1st time PASSCODE 1234 

VM Tutorial

After entering the default passcode (1234), the tutorial will play to guide you through these steps to set up your mailbox:

  1. Create New Passcode
  2. Record Greeting
  3. Record Name 

IMPORTANT! Follow the Voice Mail tutorial to its completion. If you do not complete the entire tutorial, you will have to redo it the next time you access your voice mailbox.
