Overview


Students and staff are able to print documents through their Android devices to any Release Station on the Beloit College campus using Mobility Print. Supported devices include Android 4.4+ phones and tablets from Google, Samsung, HTC, Lenovo, LG, Sony, and Huawei among others.

Setting up Mobility Print on your Android Device


To begin, install the Papercut Mobility app. This is a one-time process.

  • Make sure your device is connected to the BCNet wi-fi network

  • Install the
    1. Download and run the PaperCut Mobility Print app

    from the Google Play Store
    1. .

      Launch
      1. Important: You must be connected to the campus network to download the app.

    1. Tap

    Android settings.Tap
    1. “Install or Update” on the PaperCut Mobility Print Client installer.

  • Tap the enable toggle.

  • Exit out of Settings
      1. You’ll be taken to the play store to download the PaperCut App

    1. Install or update the PaperCut app

    **Push notifications are required to get credentials and release prints**



    Printing from your Android Device


    Each application you use will have different steps for printing documents. This is a general overview of how to print from your device.

    1. Navigate to the document you will be printing

    2. Tap on the

    options menu available in the application
    1. share button.

    2. Tap Print  

    3. Select one of the four print queues corresponding to the release station you would like to print to. Make sure you select a Mobility Print printer as identified by the PaperCut icon (see image to the right)

    4. Enter your credentials when prompted

    5. Learn more about sending a document to print and releasing your print job.
